The United States Basketball Team has announced its roster for the upcoming 2024 Olympics in Paris, France. The team features 12 NBA stars, including three-time Olympic champion Kevin Durant, and boasts a combined 11 Olympic appearances and 10 Olympic gold medals.
The team will be led by head coach Gregg Popovich, who has coached Team USA to two Olympic gold medals in 2012 and 2016. Popovich is one of the most successful coaches in NBA history, having won five NBA championships with the San Antonio Spurs.
Team USA will face stiff competition in Paris, as several other countries have assembled talented rosters. However, the United States remains the favorite to win the gold medal, as they have won the last three Olympic tournaments and seven of the last nine.
