Tottenham Hotspur Close the Gap on Arsenal in North London Derby

Højbjerg and Kane Secure Victory

Tottenham Hotspur moved to within one point of fourth-placed Arsenal with a 2-1 victory in the North London derby on Sunday.

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg opened the scoring for the visitors in the 14th minute, but Arsenal equalized through Saka in the 26th minute. Kai Havertz put Chelsea ahead again in the 37th minute, and they held on to secure the three points.

The win was Tottenham's fourth in a row in the Premier League, and it moved them up to fifth place in the table. Arsenal remain fourth, but Tottenham now have a game in hand on their rivals.

The match was played in front of a sell-out crowd at the Emirates Stadium, and the atmosphere was electric. Both teams had chances to win the game, but it was Tottenham who ultimately deserved the victory.

Harry Kane was the star of the show for Tottenham, scoring twice to take his tally for the season to 17. The England captain was a constant threat to the Arsenal defense, and he was unlucky not to score more goals.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte was delighted with his team's performance. "I am very happy with the victory," he said. "We played a great game against a very good team. We deserved to win."

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was disappointed with his team's performance. "We didn't play well enough," he said. "We made too many mistakes. We need to learn from this and move on."
